Nose: Gentle spices and intense sweetness of dried fruits are topped with chocolate, ripe oranges and oiled leather.
Taste: Full-bodied and bold, aromatic spices, fruit loaf and candied lemon are followed by a surge of vanilla, honey and caramel. The finish transforms from peppery and hot to deliciously sweet and smooth.

The anCnoc 18 Year Old has matured in Spanish oak ex-sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon barrels and has been bottled in its most natural form, neither chill-filtered nor coloured. As a result this dram may develop a light haze with the addition of water or if kept at a cold temperature. This haze is a natural characteristic of whisky that is non chill-filtered.

Nose: Heady, intense and powerful. A collision of waxy dark chocolate, warm blackcurrants and muscovado sugar pulls you under its spell with a burst of plump cherries and earthy pine needles leaping from its depths. Salty seasoning brings a briny character with tangy crisp seaweed and smoky bacon swirling on the surface with hints of sweet vanilla, spicy cloves and blueberries.
Taste: Torrents of taste well up on the palate; deep, peppery and chewy, bombarding the tongue with its intense tastes and textures. The first plunge brings forth chewy peppered steak soaked in pepper sauce with the tang of crispy seaweed. As you descend deeper, encounter a mouthful of black tarry espresso coffee that coats the palate with rich melted dark fruits (blackcurrants, blueberries and cherries) and bitter almonds. As the taste soaks in deeper, star anise and hickory dry out the palate before a surprise of chalky effervescent violets fizz to the surface.
Finish: Long, deep and remaining powerful into the finish with black tarry coffee, chocolate-coated cherries and hot pepper sauce, the lingering memories of your mysterious and daring journey into Corryvreckan.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a very limited special release from the Ardbeg distillery which will slowly entrap you in a whirlpool of aromas and flavours all contained within this turbulent force of a 700mL bottle. A peaty offering and a vatted malt created by the renowned John Glaser, of Compass Box. The Peat Monster contains whisky from secret distilleries (all very cloak and dagger). They can tell us that some was from the village of Port Askaig in Islay, with some south coast Islay whisky too, vatted with Ardmore. This was matured in a mix of first fill and refill American oak casks.

Compass Box's delicious Spice Tree was briefly illegitimate, according to SWA regulations. After adjusting its creation, Spice Tree is back, and better than ever. It's a blended malt made from Highland malt whiskies, aged in specially made casks with new French oak heads.

In April 2015, it was named Best Blended Malt Scotch at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Edradour is one of Scotland's smallest distilleries and at the heart of the range, this 10 year old Eastern Highlander is a rather unique single malt, a decidedly rum-like dram with a thick mouthfeel. The distillery’s methods of production remain virtually unchanged in the last 150 years. This single malt’s decade of ageing was spent in a combination of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.

Kilchoman's Machir Bay is an excellent single malt Scotch whisky from the isle of Islay. The distillers use whisky which has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso Sherry butts, resulting in a well-balanced flavour profile, with highlights of vanilla biscuits, light fruit and wafts of warm peat smoke. A top expression from Islay's farm distillery.

Nàdar Gin is a fresh, silky smooth and exciting spirit using botanicals grown on Arbikie’s estate. It’s the world’s first climate-positive gin.

Nàdar Gin is the result of a five-year research project by Arbikie’s Master Distiller, Kirsty Black, during her PhD studentship between Abertay University and The James Hutton Institute, Scotland.

The gin has a carbon footprint of -1.54kg of CO2e (carbon dioxide equivalent) per 700ml bottle. What it means is that the gin is able to negatively offset the carbon dioxide emission in its production thereby climate positive. This is achieved by using peas, instead of more common base ingredients such as wheat, barley or maize. As legumes, peas are able to source nitrogen, which is critical for plant growth, from the air.

The 12 year old expression from Old Pulteney released in mid-2018 was entirely aged in bourbon casks, resulting in a heavy influence of bourbon sweetness - which helps to balance the characteristic coastal salinity of the whisky. An excellent introduction to Old Pulteney (though well worth a look even if you've already been introduced).

Matured for 15 years, this is our most balanced and smooth single malt. Balancing two different sides of the flavour spectrum, this single malt marries these perfectly, whilst also reflecting our coastal home and its unwavering influence. On one hand, this is an intense single malt, yet at the same time, it is truly balanced. Spice and sweetness unite in this naturally rich amber whisky to celebrate rich flavours, yet lighter, more refreshing coastal notes show another side of this single malt.

Taste: Dark chocolate and green apple make for a great juxtaposition of bitterness and sweetness, while waves of vanilla and rye bread sit in the background

Matured for 18 years, this is indulgent and spicy thanks to the casks selected for maturation.

Taking its character and colour entirely from the casks within which it has been nurtured, this is a deeply warming whisky. The indulgence extends through this single malt with chocolate and spice defining the character but allowing for the influence of more vibrant zesty flavours.
